International Partnerships

At FORTRAMA, international collaboration is a driving force for inspiration, knowledge exchange, and the professionalization of our field. Together with partners across the globe, we open doors to new perspectives, broaden horizons, and foster dialogue that reaches far beyond national borders.

🌍INORMS – International Network of Research Management Societies

As a member of the International Network of Research Management Societies (INORMS), FORTRAMA is part of a vibrant global community shaping the future of research and innovation management. INORMS brings together national and regional associations to share best practices, coordinate joint activities, and promote professional exchange worldwide. Through this network, FORTRAMA members gain access to international learning opportunities and new avenues for engagement.

Thanks to the INORMS Sister Association Reciprocal Benefit Strategy (ISARBS),  members of FORTRAMA and other participating associations can attend annual meetings, conferences, and training opportunities across the world at discounted rates. This unique program makes international professional development more accessible and encourages cross-border knowledge exchange—perfect for anyone who wants to think globally and act locally. For some of the meetings we are even able to provide a limited number of free tickets to our members.

🇺🇸 NCURA – Exchange With the United States

FORTRAMA has established a formal cooperation agreement with the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) , one of the largest U.S. organizations in the field of research administration. This partnership enables members to participate in NCURA’s training formats, workshops, and exchange activities, offering valuable insights into international practice and enriching their own professional work with global perspectives.

🌏 SRAI – Growing Professionally Through International Collaboration

Through its relationship with the Society of Research Administrators International (SRAI) , FORTRAMA connects its members to a dynamic international network spanning more than 45 countries. SRAI offers global conferences, training opportunities, and a strong professional community—resources that FORTRAMA members can benefit from through reduced membership fees, shared expertise, and opportunities for active participation.
